About me:
The best way to describe myself is as an empath; I feel deeply for others and I am a great listener. When I want something, I work very hard to attain that goal. I am a forever learner and I enjoy knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I’m visually driven and I love to make people, places and things beautiful. I swoon over romantic french bobs and soft tousled bohemian styles, shag haircuts and long textured layers. I love working with people’s natural texture and creating effortless, lived in shapes. I cut in a structure to the hair that works whether styled with a brush or washed and air dried. I’m also inspired by bangs/fringe and short cuts for both men and women. I enjoy sculpting in a great shape and find it thought provoking. Bangs/fringe are a great way to add interest and instant style to what would otherwise be a pretty simple cut. They also coincide seamlessly into either retro or modern looks. In 2009 I studied at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Dallas, TX. Directly afterwards I started an apprenticeship at one of their salons, after which I became a full-time stylist. After a few years, I progressed to being an educator within the company, where I trained future apprentices. I specialize in haircutting, for both men and women, and I love doing updos and specialty styles.
